Design process
We took a very traditional bungalow and transformed it completely by removing internal walls to create a large open-plan space with a distinctly contemporary feel.
Beckermann handleless kitchen furniture was chosen to achieve this look, featuring a large statement bank of tall units and a bold island as the centrepiece.
Ultra-thin 12mm Dekton was used for the main island worktop, combined with a large square deep-edged Silestone Quartz breakfast bar area. The matt texture of the Dekton contrasts beautifully with the crystal sparkle of the Silestone raised dining area.
The ultra-realistic wood-effect tall units complement the sleek matt finish of the handleless island base cabinets perfectly.
Our signature dropped ceiling feature has once again been employed to great effect, enhancing the overall dramatic impact with subtle perimeter LED lighting.
